In an increasingly interconnected digital world, wildlife photography has become my way to disconnect from screens and reconnect with the natural world. It gives me a reason to slow down, put away my AirPdos, and appreciate the wildlife that exists all around us, often right in our own backyards.

Garden State Creatures was created to celebrate New Jersey's incredible biodiversity, from the cool and unique species to those everyday creatures we tend to overlook. I hope this project encourages people to look closer at the world around them, appreciate the natural ecosystem, and learn something new about even the most common wildlife.
