Thank you for everything.

It’s bittersweet, but I am officially graduating with my Master’s in Communication & Media Studies from the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information.

I’m proud to leave the program with a 4.0 GPA, and tonight, I was honored to receive an MCM Outstanding Student of the Year award. Thank you, Richard Dool, DMgt., for nominating me.

In the past year with WRSU-FM Rutgers Radio and The Daily Targum, I won awards from the New Jersey Press Association and IBS - Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, Inc. To create the award-winning photo/video content, I had the opportunity to travel to Arizona, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York. I couldn’t be more grateful to these organizations for the opportunities.

A huge shoutout to some of my mentors at Rutgers:

Mike Pavlichko, Ildi Koczan, Neal Bennett, Mary D'Ambrosio, Dena Seidel, and Dave Howland.

I’ve grown so much at Rutgers, and I owe much of my growth to your teaching.

Thank you to my family and my friends, and everyone who's supported me along the way. And of course, congrats to all of the other 2025 Rutgers grads. I can’t wait to see what you all do next!
